Library / IT
We are proud of our school library, which is home to a wide variety of French and English books. Open during school hours, it is an excellent resource for the school and its students and families.
Our preschool and elementary school students visit the library with their classes once a week, to enjoy story time in French and to check out books for independent reading. Our middle and high school students visit the library on a regular basis to do research, to browse, and to select books for independent reading. The library, managed by our own staff, is an integral part of the Lyceum Kennedy curriculum.
All students from nursery to high school are introduced to computers in our computer lab, where programs carefully selected by our own teachers reinforce the school curriculum. Our children gradually become familiar with how to use a computer and how to evaluate the information they find.
Our curriculum is designed to teach students to be critical thinkers, aware of responsible practices in technology. It follows the objectives of the National Education Technology Standards (NETS) and the French Brevet Informatique et Internet (B2i).
